Our Partners
Jacques is a Charter Accountant and has worked for financial consulting firms for more than 7 years (Ernst & Young and Kurt Salmon).
After 3 years in recruitment at Robert Walters in charge of Financial Management positions, he has
joined Smith and Partners as a Partner in 2009 to head the banking and Asset Management Practice. Since 2015 he is CEO of Smith & Partners France.

After studying Finance in Paris IX Dauphine University and trading in ESSEC business school, Jean
has started his career on bonds and securitization within CPR and Calyon.
He then joined SocGen in Hong Kong as an Institutional sales on equity derivatives products.
In 2003 he is recruited by Robert Walters to manage the Investment Banking division.
From 2007 to 2015 he is working for Smith and Partners Europe as head of the Front Office and Asset Management positions in London, Paris and Geneva.
Since 2015 he is now USA CEO supervising New York and Miami offices.
Jessie has a multicultural background. She is originally from Nanjing, China and went to high school in the US.
She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degree from Ecole Polytechnique in France and then got another Master's of mathematical finance at Courant, NYU.
She started her career as a quantitative trader in Societe Generale New York and then worked at other investment banks such as Bank of America and JP Morgan, for a total of 8 years of experience in quantitative finance. She holds pyschology therapy & marriage and family therapy licenses from China.
In 2018 she is recruited by Smith & Partners to open and manage the New york Office, as well as covers the Asia market.
She is specialized in algo trading positions and systematic strategies quant.
She is fluent in French, English and Mandarin.
Former Banker at Salomon Smith Barney, Claes Smith founded Smith & Partners in 1999.
